Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

Ok, let’s face it. I’m not going to be able to write in this blog everyday so I’m just going to do it when I get around to it.

Nothing eventful has been happening over the last few days anyway. I’m still pregnant which is definitely a good thing! I’m getting fatter by the day but it seems to me everywhere but my baby belly where I’m SUPPOSED to be getting fatter. I wore my camel coloured pants today but I really should have looked in the mirror before I left for work. I looked hideous. I think it might be almost time to get a new wardrobe. I want to buy some clothes that will have a bit of give in them so I can wear them before and after the baby belly. There are some GORGEOUS clothes available from some online maternity stores but getting the sizing right without trying them on could be a little tricky. I’m loving the shirts you see prego ladies getting around in now with a big “Mind the bump” or “Baby on board” emblazoned across the front. I’d never really been one to wear shirts that say anything or make a statement but I’m thinking, why the heck not? I’ll have a beautiful baby belly and I want to be able to show it off without actually ‘showing it off’, if you know what I mean? So yeah, this weekend might be spent shopping online for "prego purchases". I love shopping. *grin*

Hubby's parents will be out AGAIN this weekend. I put on a bit of a turn when I found out that they'd be out three weekends in a row and hubby said "They won't be here for that long." Yeah. Ok. I'll believe it when I see it. THREE WEEKENDS IN A ROW!!!!!! We're supposed to be making the most of OUR time together, not US & the Mother-In-Law & the Father-In-Law & the Brother-In-Law. Geez. Yes, this is pregzilla talking. I should just learn to get over it and grin and bear it. Easier said than done, that's for sure.

At least I get to spend Monday with hubby. He's going North for work and asked if I'd like to come with him. I was planning on taking a day off to get some R&R (since I can't do it on the FRICKIN' WEEKEND as there's always someone HERE). It's going to be a bloody early day (4am) but I plan on taking a pillow so I can sleep all the way there. I'd like to go so I can see a little more of the country. I've never been out that way and hubby said he'd like me to see it. This is a conversation we had via SMS today:-

Me (after hanging up the phone): Sorry I couldn't talk. There were people everywhere. I'd love to come with you on Monday. Can you handle Pregzilla all day?
Him: If you get too bad I can always put you in the back of the truck.
Me: I really hope this kid knows what a loving & thoughtful father it has...

I think you had to be there to get the joke. Anyhoo, hubby's almost home so I should probably do the good wifey thing and cook something for dinner.

L&H!
