Hang on. Doesn't 11 weeks 5 days come BEFORE 11 weeks 6 days? Technically, yes. But after our scan today, my due date is now the 4th of July! I was two days out with my dating. Still, two days isn't much really.
How exciting!!! We saw our little Buddah in the flesh (so to speak)! Details from the scan are as follows:-
Ultrasound derived gestational age: 11 weeks 5 days as at today
Skull/brain: Appears normal
Abdominal wall: Appears normal
Spine: Appears normal
Bladder: Appears normal (MINE on the other hand... )
Feet: Both visable
Hands: Both visable
Nasal bone: Visualised
Fetal Heart Rate: 167bpm
Placenta: Posterior
Amniotic Fluid: Normal
Cord: 3 vessels
Estimated risk of Trisomy 21 (DS): 1:4,607
Estimated risk of Trisomy 18 + 13: : 13,479

That's so fantastic... all wonderful results. i wonder, did they ask you if you are interested in knowing the sex? Apparently they can tell from 10 weeks. Also, how long did it take?

Hi Hayley! I did ask about the sex but she told me you can't really tell until about the 18 week scan. Can't wait for that one! :) All up the scan & waiting for results took about 2 hours.
