Sorry I have been so quiet of late. Bub is definately keeping me busy, that's for sure!
Quick update from us - We visited the Child Health Clinic for the first time last Wednesday and Harley is back to his birth weight and then some so they are happy with that. He's also grown 2cm and now fits snuggly in 000 size clothes.
He's had a lot of wind so we've been giving him small doses of gripe water which he seems to love (yuck!) and also 3ml once a day of Fluid Magnesia to help with his poo's. His last poo was last Tuesday so we were getting worried and Mum recommended Fluid Magnesia to help him out as that's what she gave us when we were babies. It sure did! This morning he had an atomic one! (Lucky for me it was Daddy's turn to change nappies. Haha!)
On the breastfeeding front, I've been drinking loads of water and milk, taking Fenugreek tablets and generally getting enough rest but I still can't seem to produce much milk. When I express I can only get about 70-80mls and he needs at least 120mls before he's happy so recently we've had to give him more formula feeds which I didn't want to do just yet but have to otherwise he's not getting enough to eat.
Apart from that, he's doing just fine. He's generally a happy bub. He doesn't like sleeping much during the day but thankfully he sleeps great at night.
His christening is next Sunday (5th) and there are sooo many people coming. I can't wait! It'll be great to see everyone again.
We can't believe he's 3 weeks tomorrow!!

Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

I just read you comment about not getting much milk when expressing. I just wanted to let you know that a baby is much more adept at getting milk from your boobies than a pump.
Anyway, above is a link to the Australian Breastfeeding Association forum. I can not speak highly of them, I have just recently ended my breastfeeding relationship with my son (22 months) best of luck and I hope the link is of some help to you. :)
