Today was our first official day at home from the hospital. Last night was OK. He woke about 3 times for a feed and once for a nappy change. We did manage to get some sleep in there somewhere! I'm at the stage where I really don't care what time it is, I'm just happy to be able to spend that time with him.
He took to the breast really well when we got to the hospital the night I had him and is having approx 2-3 hourly feeds at moment. He's generally a good baby. Doesn't grizzle much for no reason and he's happy to just look around the room at everything and take it all in. I can't help but wonder what he thinks about when he's looking at things.
The midwife visited today for our first check up. My stitches are healing quite well and she said she's quite happy with my breastfeeding. Bub had his heel prick test done and didn't even flinch when she jabbed the prick into his heel! The next visit midwife visit is on Saturday.
We're so in love with this little guy and you'll probably read that a lot from me over in this blog. We're so lucky. :)

Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.
