Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

I think Harley's sick. He has a raspy throat and is generally miserable. It's heartbreaking to hear him trying to cry. :( He's still eating and wetting nappies and he doesn't have a temp so hopefully it's just a sore throat and nothing more will come from it. I just put him to bed (7pm) and he's laying there awake but he seems content. He'll nod off soon. He's been a great baby like that. You put him to bed at night and he puts himself to sleep. There's only been one occasion where he needed resettling so we can't complain there really! We've started "dream feeding". Technically for it to be a dream feed you aren't supposed to wake them but last night we changed his nappy which woke him up and fed him at about 10pm. Here's a breakdown of the night...

6pm - Bath, feed and in bed by 7pm
10pm - Mum woke him, changed his bum and fed him, back to bed by 10:30pm (I wasnt going to wake him but she beat me to it!)
1am - Awake but just resettled him (this was when he usually woke for a feed before the new routine)
2am - Awake but resettled in minutes
3am - Awake but resettled in minutes
5am - Awake and fed (no nappy change though)
7am - Awake and got out of bed for a feed
8am - I went back to bed and my Mum babysat until I woke up at 12pm! HAHA!

It was a rather restless night for both of us but being a new routine, I expected it to be. I think I'll try again tonight but I might try and keep him up a bit longer after his 6pm feed. Oh, and we're feeding every 3/3.5 hours at 180mls during the day now. He doesn't seem to be INHALING his bottles as much as when he fed every 4 hours!
