First scan = great success!

Our first ultrasound scan was on Friday and it was great! I must admit though, I had a feeling of dread all morning. I was half expecting to them to say they couldn't find a heartbeat but I knew I was just being silly. I can't help but think that way after what happened last time though.

Anyway... everything went really well. We (Keith, Rebecca & myself) got to see bub in it's glory. Such an active little bean it was! Hardly sat still the entire time (an hour). It was such a relief to see it there on the screen, heartbeat and all. The best part is we got some wonderfully clear photos.

It makes it all so much more real now, seeing it on the screen. The due date hasn't changed at all, my dates were spot on so we can still expect this one around the 29th March. We were told what they thought the sex was but we're not convinced so we're just going to wait till the next scan in November. How am I going to wait that long! :|
