Of all the people I've asked about their thoughts sex of this baby, I'd say about 80% have said girl. Whether that's just wishful thinking or they see something on the scan photos that I can't, I don't know! I don't even have an inkling of an idea. I've been thinking about life with either and this is what I've come up with so far:-
BOY
- I've already got HEAPS of boy clothes
- We won't have to paint the new nursery
- I have an awesome name picked
- I know what to do with a boy!
GIRL
- Keith would really like a girl
- I get to buy HEAPS of girly clothes
- I get to decorate the new nursery in all girly stuff
- I have an awesome name picked
- I'll have to learn what to do with a girl!
So as you can see, I'm going to be happy with either BUT I know Keith really wants a girl so I'm tending to sway that way. Hell, I'm being outnumbered here! In all honesty though, I really don't mind either way which is weird as usually you definitely have a preference for one or the other but not me! I'm just looking forward to having a little baby in the house again.
Harley is going to make a great big brother. The girls at his day care tell me he's very gentle and careful around the little babies in his room. Could be a different story when he can't leave this one! LOL I'm sure he'll be great.
I have my next checkup on the 15th October at the birth centre. At the moment it's 4 weeks between visits but soon enough it'll be 2 weeks, then one week then none because Puggles will be here!
Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.
