Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

Who's a lucky boy?

Yesterday was a big day for Harley. He got a new bedroom set, a new booster seat AND a haircut! Here's some photos (of course!)...

New Bookshelf/Toybox

New Trundle Bed
(Not in white, it'll be in a similar stain to the bookshelf)

New Booster Seat
(S'n'S Maxirider AHR)
How awesome is his bedroom going to look! We're not going to change him over to a bed for another few months yet but the bargain we got on the bed and bookshelf was too hard to ignore. The trundle bed is just awesome. It has the trundle underneath (obviously) but then some drawers under that for whatever he wants to put in there. I wanted a trundle bed for two reasons. While he's getting used to a big bed, we're going to leave the trundle out in case he falls out of bed (we have a barrier too but you never know with kids LOL) and so he can then use the trundle for sleepovers when he gets a bit older. It's a great sturdy bed and should last for many years. We hope!

I just love his new booster seat too. Check out these features:
  • Features AHR (Active Head Restraint) technology to provide valuable side impact protection. The unique adjustable AHR head rest grows as your child does
  • Converts from a forward facing seat for 8kg to 18kg infants to a booster seat for children up to 26kg
  • Exclusive patented Anti-Submarine clip for use in booster seat mode. Deep wings for side impact protection fitted with EPS liner for added head protection for the child
  • Built in child harness to 18kg which stores away when not in use. Harness adjustable by push button
  • Luxurious fabrics plus additional cushioning and padding all over. Includes two cup holders (suits cups, drink cans and fruit boxes) that can be rotated into a stored position when not in use
  • Includes pivoting arm rests, a recline mechanism, seat belt locator and split crotch strap all for added comfort and safety.
  • Suitable for children from 8 - 18kg using the in-built harness, then up to 26kg using either the car's lap/sash seat belt or Safe-n-Sound Protecta Harness
Love it! Not sure when we're going to put him in it though. I want to get him used to it before the baby comes though.

Now for the haircut! He was so good. It was almost 5pm and he was sooo tired from being out all day with me & Dad but he was great. He sat in Dad's lap the whole time. The whole process took around 3 minutes and he did crack up at one stage but not from the haircut, it was just because he had to sit still for so long! LOL Here's some photos...

I think he looks so grown up! He's definitely not a little baby anymore. :(
