Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

34 weeks 3 days

I heard a "clicking" sound from the womb for the first time the other day. I thought it was Bubs bones cracking but apparently it's nothing to do with the baby and more to do with me and my ligaments stretching. If it was Bubs bones I though it would be a muffled sound but no, it just sounded like one of my knuckles cracking. Apparently it's completely normal. Phew!

For those who have been following by blog you'd know what I never experienced morning sickness during the first or second trimester, well, I'm getting it now! It's not a constant thing, mainly at night and sometimes during the day. I haven't actually vomited from it yet, it's just a light-headed feeling, sweaty face and hands and the feeling that your stomach is in your throat. Not very nice at all. SO glad I only have a few weeks to go and it's all over. I pity those of you who have severe morning sickness and have it throughout your entire pregnancy. You poor chooks. :(

Look at what my Mummy bought for the baby!

Isn't it adorable? I've never seen anything like it! It's a 3-in-1 portable bassinet with play seat (bub can sit up), full sized bassinet that folds for travel or storage. It also has a ventilated sleeping area, ergonomic handle including electronics such as soothing lullabies, nature sounds and a soft glow nightlight. It's got the works! I love it. Thanks Mum! :D

I've been thinking about cutting my hair but everyone tells me not to while I'm pregnant as I'll probably regret it later. Maybe I should hold out? I want to cut about 3 or 4 inches off so nothing too drastic but still a big change. I might think about it some more... :)

Maternity leave has been great so far. I really enjoy being a lady of leisure but some days can get pretty boring. I haven't really done much apart from the housework, some digital scrapbooking, a bit of sleeping and organising Bubs clothes and the nursery. It's all ready to go now - just need the baby! I went to the movies and then out to lunch with some of the girls from my Forum yesterday and that was great (thanks for a lovely day girls!). We saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (Johnny Depp - *drool*) which went for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT. I was quite impressed with myself as I didn't have to leave for the bathroom once even though Bub was having a ball bouncing to the beat of the movie. Definately recommend the movie though. I think they've left it open #4 as well but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I've only heard from work about 3 times and the last time was my boss asking me my opinion of the guy that took my place. Apparently they are having a few issues with him and I felt like saying "I told you that when we interviewed!" but I held my tongue. It's going to be interesting to see if he works out.

Oh! At my 34 week appointment, the midwife confirmed that Bubs head was beginning to engage which explains why his kicks feel different and there's an increased pressure "down there". I asked if this meant I could go early and they said not to hold my breath but it means things are progressing smoothly and according to plan. I'm still pretty convinced he's going to be a June baby instead of a July one. OMG JUNE. That's next month! Eep. :S
