The past week has been exciting, challenging, fun, scary, wonderful. We're still relatively new to this whole thing so we're figuring things out as we go but I think we're on track as he seems to be settled most of the time (except for the occasional upset tummy). Breastfeeding still hurts a bit initially but I'm getting used to it. My favourite part is when he's finished and his little head flops back, mouth wide open as if to say "Ahhhhh" like on the beer commercials. :)
A few firsts we've experienced since being home are:-
* First smile - Well, it was probably wind but it was sooo cute!)
* First poo - What a pleasure. :)
* First bottle feed - Expressed breast milk but he loved it!
* First pee on Mum & Dad - This was bound to happen sooner or later. :)
* First playgroup visit - A bit of a disaster but we got through it.
* First shower - He couldn't get enough of this! Loved every minute.
* First Dr Phil & Oprah - I think he's addicted already... ;)
And I'm sure there are PLENTY more but it's just so hard to keep up with him!
Oh, I've finally gotten around to scanning his stories from the paper (see below).
And his birth story is also going to be in the September/October issue of Pregnancy & Birth magazine! I have to remember to buy it when it comes out. Our little superstar!
