Saturday night we put Harley in his cot in his own room for the first time! He woke pretty much the same as if he was still in his basinet in our room but last night, he slept through from 8:30pm till about 3:30am! He did stir around midnight but just put himself back to sleep. We've dropped the midnight bottle and the dream feed but he doesn't seem to mind. He has his last bottle around 8:30pm and the next one around 4-5am.
It was very bittersweet for me putting him in his own room. I was sad that he wasn't laying beside within arms reach but I was happy that we could get a better nights sleep and he was no longer bothering Keith all night. My little man is growing too FAST!!! He's going to be in a big boy bed soon enough!
It's heartbreaking for Keith that he has to keep going away for work for a week at a time but he has no choice at the moment. I know he misses Harls a great deal so I try to send him updated photos and videos just so he can still see and hear him. I sent him a 7 second video of Harls and he watched it 15 times in a row! Think he misses him much? It should be better when the new guy starts at his work but then there's no guarentee that he'll be home more then either. Just have to wait and see I guess. :(
