Today is the day I did the first pregnancy test for my "suspected" pregnancy. I was actually expecting a negative result but got the total opposite! Symptoms that I'm experiencing are:-
- Sore boobs & nipples - My boobs feel really heavy (and maybe a little bigger but that could just be wishful thinking!) God help Hubby if he tries to touch my nipples... Ouch!
- Moody - I can get pretty cranky around about the time AF is going to show up but lately my mood has swung from total happy camper to evil She-Devil in the blink of an eye. Poor Hubby. No wonder he goes away for work so often.
- Fatigue - This is one symptom that gave it away. I'm normally not a very active person anyway but lately I've been so tired I almost fall asleep driving the 40km trip home from work each day. Not good! Last week when I was away for work I finished at 4:30pm, went back to the motel, fell asleep around 5pm and woke at 6am the next morning! I think I woke once to turn the TV off. I knew I was tired but that was really out of the ordinary for me.
- Headaches - I've had horrible headaches that last all day which is quite normal for me & I'm not even sure if they are related to the pregnancy. I've just been taking Nurofen or Panadol for them.
- Hayfever - OMG. The hayfever the last two weeks has been unbearable! I wake up sniffling & sneezing and go to bed in the same state. I've been taking Claratyne for this which does seem to help for a little while but by the time I go to bed, it's back with a vengence.
- Unquenchable Thirst - This could have something to do with the 30 degree days we've been having but I seem a lot thirstier than normal.
- Food Aversions - So far it's just vinegar I can't handle. I found this out yesterday when Hubby made a salad dressing with vinegar in it and I almost barfed.
- Gassy - I can't stop burping! Could be worse I guess. Could be the other end! Actually, there are some funny noises coming from the bowel, kinda like air bubbles but no escapees.
That's about it... so far! I'll be sure to keep you updated though. I still have to a visit to the doctors on Monday for blood test confirmation but I think the proof is in the pudding! I just hope there is nothing majorly wrong so far but honestly, how much can you tell from a 1.5mm dot?
Now for the fun stuff! We have to think of names, buy all new baby gear, decorate the nursery, etc. It's a bit too early for most of that but hey, a girl can dream can't she?
Love, hugs & babydust to all. :)
