Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

According to the results of my latest ultrasound, Bubs is actually due 5 days earlier than we were originally told so instead of the 4th July 2007, it’s now the 30th June 2007. Hubby wants me to hold on till the 7th July 2007 (07/07/07) but I said Bubs will come whenever the hell he wants to come! Oh, and did I mention Bubs is a HE?!?! That’s right, our little man! I had this feeling right from the very beginning and it was confirmed at the scan on Wednesday. The sonographer only just got the paddle on me and the very first thing we saw on the screen was his willy in all it’s glory! It was as though he knew that that is what we wanted to see so he presented it for us. Who’s a clever boy then? :)

I don’t think he appreciated being poked by the paddle as he kicked a bit throughout the appointment. Well, what I THOUGHT were kicks anyway. I told the sonographer that he’s not very happy and he’s kicking me in the left side but she said that can’t be right as his legs were on my right so we figured he must have been HEADBUTTING me instead! I hope he grows out of that quick smart! Oh, and he’s a thumb sucker too. I have photos from this scan and the previous scan of him sucking his thumb so another habit I hope he outgrows.

We’ve chosen a name but we’re not telling every man and his dog as we don’t want anyone to ruin it and people have a habit of doing that. You tell them the name and the next thing they’re telling you all about this snot of a kid they went to school with with the same name and how only snots have that name. So nope, we’re not telling anyone the name unless they guarantee me that they’ll like it!

Everything is going great with Bubs and he’s growing to be a big strong boy. I can’t wait to meet him and show him his room and everything we bought for him. Not that he’d have a blue clue what anything is but still, it’s going to be very exciting to bring him home. :) The kicks have been getting stronger and stronger now and I have been feeling them more often. I’ve noticed that he reacts to certain foods I eat.

In other news, I was recently promoted to Co-Admin of a local website for Parents & Parents-to-Be. This may not seem like much but it’s very exciting to me. I always wanted to run (or in this case, help run) a successful website and so far, this one is going great guns. We’ve already had one meet-up which was great (about 10 members attended) and the next is scheduled for next Friday and there are about 25 people coming to that one so that should be good. It’s great to put faces to “usernames”. :)

I’ve finished painting the shapes on the nursery wall so this weekend we were planning on putting the nursery furniture up which is pretty exciting. Can’t wait to see everything in its place!

That's about it for now. :)
