Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.

38 weeks

Last weekend was great! Here's what we got up to...
- Friday we went shopping and scored some great clothes.
- Friday night we caught up with some other friends and we all went out for dinner (not recommending that place to anyone who comes to Mackay... ).
- Saturday we did some MORE shopping and my Mum came down from Townsville to give us the bassinet she bought for Bub (so cute!!!).
- Saturday night we all went out for dinner again (this time is was a great meal at a great place), went for coffee & dessert at the Coffee Club in the city afterwards which was lovely then home to bed as by then we were all buggered!
- Sunday we went to the Finch Hatton Show which was awfully muddy but a great day overall.
- Sunday arve we dropped Kat off at the airport, T off at the motel, came home and I went to bed (this was at 6:30pm). HAHA!

I may have overdone it a little this weekend with all the walking as my pelvis is paying for it now but I can't wait to do it again AFTER Bub arrives! I'm also looking forward to the Finch Hatton show again next year. Hopefully it won't be as muddy next time around.

I have my 38 week check-up on Friday but I don't think it's going to be any different to the usual check-ups. Walk in, have a quick chat about how things are going (never usually anything to report), get my BP taken, hear Bubs heartbeat on the doppler, the doc/MW has a feel of Bub and measures the fundus height and that's it! I'm considered a low risk pregnancy so that's all they need to do apparently. I can only hope the birth is going to be just as low risk. :)

We're really looking forward to the birth now - am I crazy saying that?! LOL... Keith calls me several times a day now to make sure I'm OK. He's asked me to carry a phone everywhere just in case I go into labour. There are FOUR phones throughout this house from one end to the other PLUS my mobile so I'm pretty sure I'll make it to a phone IF anything happens. He's become rather protective of me now that we only have two weeks to go.

OMG TWO WEEKS?! :O
