Still nothing to report after the scare. I've had the same pain again and this time is lasted a bit longer but I coped at home. I have no idea what labour feels like but I assume it to be worse than that. I'm sure I'll be fine but can't help but wonder just how painful it's going to be. I also have no idea what my pain threshold is like as I've never really been in a great deal of pain. My last motorbike accident didn't really hurt that much as I didn't break anything but it did shake me up a bit. I've had a kidney infection before and THAT was quite painful but I coped. I guess I'll find out soon, won't I!
My Mum's been here since Saturday last week (after the scare) but nothing has been happening with me so she's been cleaning my house from top to bottom. The "nesting" instinct didn't kick in for me so she's been doing it. I'm sooo grateful though. My house looks fantastic. I'm going to have to take photos just so I remember it in this state! LOL I've been helping out where I can but my rock slate floor makes my back so sore I have to keep sitting down.
I really wish this Bub would hurry up and decide to come out soon. The last few days have been rather painful in that I find it pretty hard to walk now due to my back and pelvis being so sore. I sit down, it hurts. I walk around, it hurts. I lay down, it hurts. Can't win. I feel all I've been doing lately is whinging but I think it's warranted at this late stage of the pregnancy, don't you? :)
One of my friends who's due 2 days before me had her 39wk checkup today and she's already 3cm dilated and ready to roll. Lucky!!! Can't wait to hear word that her little man is here safe & sound. Good Luck Sas! :)
Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.
