Daddy went away for work for one night this week and came back and said Harley's appearance had changed overnight! I don't notice it as much as I see him every day. Apparently his cheeks are getting chubbier. I wish I could say it's from all the scrumptious breastmilk he's getting but sadly, that's still not the case. I tried breastfeeding him again for this 2am feed this morning but clearly he didn't get enough as an hour later he was awake and hungry again. I feel like such a failure every time I make him a formula bottle but it's really not my fault. I've been doing everything to keep up my milk supply but it's just not working. Harley doesn't seem to mind a formula feed over a breastmilk feed anyway and as long as he's getting fed and getting enough, I should be happy. I'm not going to give up breastfeeding just yet. I'll keep trying and if he's not getting enough, I'll just have to top him up with a formula feed. I didn't realise this would be so stressful! I'm handling everything else just fine but this... this keeps stressing me out. :(
Other than this, he's doing just great. I've added a heap of new photos to his album (link on the left) for those who want to see if he's changed like Dad says!
