Happy Christening Harley! Yes, his christening was yesterday and it was a lovely day for it. It was great to see the family again as we haven't had a family get-together for ages. I've uploaded some photos here but I still have more to upload as the batteries went flat in my camera JUST before the ceremony! :( I did recharge them but the stupid recharger was set to only recharge TWO batteries, not FOUR. Not happy Jan. My sister managed to take some photos of the ceremony on the digital video camera so I'll upload those when I get a chance.
The BBQ after the ceremony was a great chance for a catch-up with people we hadn't seen for a while and a chance for them to meet the man of the moment. He was asleep for most of the ceremony and the BBQ but a few people still got a cuddle in. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better! I'll definately have to keep that cake decorator in mind next time we need a cake!
The house felt so empty after all the guests left yesterday! Mum, my sister and my grandma are still here but Mum & my sis leave tomorrow and Grandma leaves on Friday. Harley's next check-up with the Child Health Nurse is on Wednesday. It's going to be interesting to see how much weight he's gained since the last appointment. He's almost grown out of his 000 size Wondersuits! o_O
