Funny I should choose that word as that's about all I can do these days. Waddle and roll! My bag and Bub's bag are packed and I'm just hoping I haven't forgotten anything. Last time it was my beauty case so I had no toothbrush, hair brush or shampoo and conditioner! I'm sure I looked a right mess but I really didn't care less at the time. Keith grabbed them before he came up to the hospital the next day though so I at least got to feel human before I left! So I've learnt my lesson and this time I'm packing a SPARE hairbrush, toothbrush and hair care goods.
I'm still struggling to believe I only have less than 4 weeks left. This pregnancy has gone SO fast and it's not just me that thinks so! This baby is incredibly active, almost to the point where it really hurts. It manages to take my breath away most days! It's a good thing I guess as if I didn't feel anything regularly, I'd stress. I haven't had any more dramas since the last one... *touch wood*. Hoping it stays that way too!
I haven't been sleeping very well lately which the midwives put down to anxiety (and the octopus in my tummy). It makes sense though. I'm probably anxious about having another unplanned home birth like last time. It wouldn't be a bad thing as I know I could do it but my intention is to make it to the birth centre! I know I'd be fine as someone is only ever around 20-30 minutes away. I have a few people on backup this time in case no-one is around when I go into labour. Better to be over-prepared than under-prepared...
Who am I? I am many things but first and foremost, I am the wife of Keith and the mother of two little boys, Harley and Levi. I am also a WAHM, an avid reader, experimental cook, self-confessed geek, couch potato, Facebook addict, digital scrapbooker and of course, a blogger.
